About Me

About Me

I’ve always felt that visual storytelling was my calling. I spent most of my childhood writing stories and creating my own characters, using a long list of animated tv shows and featured films as a source of inspiration. Feeling even more inspired by my artistic endeavors, I attended the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg where I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in 2007, majoring in Media Arts and Animation.

I began my career as a children’s book illustrator in 2011 with “Lyla Lyte and the Li’Berry Fruit” and “ Lyla Lyte and the Loot Tree.” Since then, I have made it my mission to create all sorts of loveable characters and illustrations for young audiences, as well as for the young-at-heart. Every project I take part in encourages me to develop my illustration skills, enhance my take on visual sequences, and improve on story development principles and styles to become a more distinguished story artist.
